The California State Coastal Conservancy has released a draft Assessment of Geomorphic Processes for the Santa Clara River. The report is a synthesis of existing information on the geomorphic characteristics of the Santa Clara River watershed, with a focus on the lower mainstem in Ventura County, and will serve as background for floodplain restoration planning in the lower river.
